How DAB Protocol collects, uses and protects personal data provided through the website and investor channels.

2. What Data We Collect

Through the “Investor Access Request” form and contact channels, we collect: name and/or company; email address; telephone number, LinkedIn or Telegram (optional); the content of your message; as well as confirmation of qualified/professional investor status and jurisdiction, where applicable. Technical data may also be processed automatically, including IP address, device type and browser, through server logs and cookies.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

  • Responding to inquiries and providing investor materials — taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Maintaining compliance records, including confirmation of qualified investor status — legitimate interest and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Security and operation of the website — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Recipients and Processors

Personal data may be shared with service providers, including hosting, email, form tools and, in the future, a licensed KYC/AML provider, acting as data processors under a contract in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. We do not sell personal data.

5. International Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are applied, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention Period

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and for the period required by applicable law, including future obligations under Bulgarian anti-money laundering legislation following licensing. After that, the data is deleted or anonymized.
